Terms & Conditions – Wine Tour Service

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or booking platform).

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.

  • Full payment must be received 7 days prior to the tour date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Bookings made within 7 days of the tour date require full payment upfront.

  • Prices are listed in ZAR unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7–14 days prior to the tour: full refund (excluding any non-refundable third-party bookings).

  • Cancellations made 3–6 days prior: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours: no refund.

  • No-shows or late arrivals are non-refundable.

  • Refunds for winery bookings, tastings, or restaurants are subject to their individual policies.

3. Changes & Rescheduling

  • Date changes are subject to availability.

  • Requests to reschedule must be made at least 7 days in advance.

  • We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to:

    • Weather conditions

    • Winery availability

    • Road or safety conditions

  • Substitutions of equal quality will be arranged where possible.

4. Inclusions & Exclusions

Included (unless otherwise stated):

  • Private transport

  • Driver/host

  • Pre-booked tastings and experiences

Not included:

  • Meals (unless specified)

  • Additional tastings or purchases

  • Gratuities

5. Alcohol Consumption & Responsibility

  • All guests must comply with South African liquor laws.

  • Excessive intoxication will not be tolerated.

  • The operator reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the tour for any guest who:

    • Poses a risk to themselves or others

    • Damages property

    • Displays abusive or unsafe behaviour

  • No refunds will be issued in such cases.

6. Liability & Risk

  • Participation in the tour is at the guest’s own risk.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Injury, loss, or damage to personal property

    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third parties

  • Liability is limited to the extent permitted under applicable South African law, including consumer protection legislation.

7. Health & Safety

  • Guests must disclose any relevant medical conditions or mobility concerns prior to the tour.

  • Comfortable footwear and appropriate attire are recommended.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if safety may be compromised.

8. Transport & Conduct

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times.

  • No smoking or illegal substances are permitted in the vehicle.

  • Any damage caused by a guest will be charged to the booking party.

9. Third-Party Providers

  • Wineries, restaurants, and other venues operate independently.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Service quality at third-party venues

    • Changes to their offerings, pricing, or availability

10. Photography & Marketing

  • Photos or videos taken during the tour may be used for marketing purposes.

  • Guests may opt out by notifying us in writing prior to the tour.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics

  • Transport disruptions

12. Privacy

  • Personal information collected is used solely for booking and operational purposes.

  • We do not share your information with third parties except where necessary to deliver services.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

14. Acceptance of Terms

  • By confirming a booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
